What is ISLE?

The ISLE Society is a community of young professionals in their 20s and 30s who stand In Support of Leadership and Education. ISLE Society events engage young professionals from around greater Boston who gather on Cathleen Stone Island and on the mainland to make new friends, network, and have fun while connecting over a good cause. The ISLE Society aims to further the mission of Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School by engaging the next generation of supporters and philanthropists.

Members are invited to exclusive events and granted special access to Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School events (see a full list of benefits below). Join today to become part of a like-minded group of young professionals who are passionate about supporting our community’s young people.

  • Wed./Thurs. May 20th & 21st – Outward BOUND 4K Trail Run | On-Island, 3-8PM | Team ISLE Society will run on the first day (05/20)
  • Wed. June 3rd – Annual ISLE Society Summer BBQ | On-Island, 6-10PM
  • Sat. October 17th – ISLE Society Volunteer Day | On-Island, 9AM-3PM
  • November TBD- The EXPLO at the Museum of Science (Details TBA)

Committing to a membership-level donation early in the year helps build our young professionals community, and you can then take advantage of membership perks during the year!

Or, you can build your membership throughout the year with our new give-and-get format. If you secure a raffle item for any CSIOBS event, secure peer-to-peer fundraising for the 4K Trail Run, or have your company sponsor an event, the value will count toward your ISLE Society membership.

ISLE Members have an incredible impact on our work with students. Additionally, once considered an annual member, they receive the perks outlined to the right in recognition of their dedication to Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School.

ISLE Society Crew: Minimum $200 Donation Annually (or $17/month) *

-Invitation to exclusive ISLE Society mainland events at a discounted fee

-ISLE Society hat

-Discounted rate at island events

-Invitation with a guest to the ISLE volunteer day

Any young professional who is not yet an annual member of the ISLE Society can receive invitations for mainland and on-Island gatherings for a fee.

Join ISLE For 2026

ISLE Society Advisory Committee: Minimum $500 Donation Annually (or $42/month)

-Everything an ISLE Society Crew gets plus:

-Invitation to attend the Islanders Reception (signature event for donors who contribute $1,000 or more annually)

-Invitation to attend post-board meeting receptions

-ISLE Society Hoodie

-Opportunity to plan ISLE Society initiative and events

Become a Monthly Donor

As a monthly donor to Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School, you can support students as they change their lives through challenge and discovery all year long. Monthly contributions help us plan and ensure that we have what we need to fund our programs throughout the year. It’s also a really easy way to set up your annual ISLE Society Membership!

Sign up today by selecting the box to “make this a recurring gift” on our donation page and choosing the “monthly” option from the drop-down menu. $17/month (starting in January) is enough to make you an annual member of the ISLE Society! Membership levels and monthly suggestions are outlined above.
