A Community of Philanthropic Leaders

Join a growing community of philanthropic leaders and families who share a passion for helping students succeed in school and life. 

Made up of more than 300 members, the Islanders are a loyal and generous network that gives Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School donations of $1,000, $10,000, $50,000, and more. Collectively contributing nearly $2 million annually, Islanders provide a strong foundation for our work and give us the freedom to reach new heights. 

Through their generosity, Islanders provide: 

  • Hands-on science education and leadership adventure to students through partnerships with Boston Public Schools at no cost. 
  • Scholarships to Boston Public School students to attend summer backpacking and kayaking expeditions. 
  • Preservation and maintenance to make our pristine island classroom a beacon of learning in the heart of Boston Harbor. 

Islander Membership Levels
