One Day. Endless Possibilities.

Participants spend the day engaged in a progression of problem-solving initiatives and various high ropes challenges. As they tackle their fears, they build confidence and develop a sense of trust and teamwork. Teams from schools to non-profits come together and work to bring the impact from their experience back to their communities.

Two people are on a ropes course. One person, wearing a blue shirt, is assisting the other, who is wearing a yellow helmet and a shirt that says "Faith Over Fear", as they navigate a section of the course with wooden planks. They are surrounded by trees and greenery.

How It Happens

Our Challenge Course features a combination of high and low rope elements, placed throughout our wooded campus in Leakin Park. Our instructors and course elements are used to specifically meet each group’s needs while here for their program.

We service groups based in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia regions. In addition to our two campuses (located in D.C. and Baltimore) we also offer on-site programming where our team can come to you.

An Infinite Number of Ways to Engage

The Outward Bound curriculum and educational methods have been tested with groups for nearly 80 years. What might seem like fun and games are quite a bit more—but also fun too! Our highly-trained team of facilitators will combine any number of initiatives, high or low rope challenge course elements, ground-based challenges, and thought-provoking discussions that help to bring the lessons of experiential learning to the surface. Anyone from middle school students to working professionals can walk away with value to add to their daily life.
