Youth-Serving Partnership Programs
Together, we can cultivate compassionate leaders, bold changemakers, and more resilient communities.
On high mountain trails and in red rock canyons, we help youth discover that they are stronger than they realize.
We believe that when youth take on challenge and teamwork in a supportive environment, transformational learning is sparked. In these moments, students form deep connections, build confidence in their abilities, and practice compassion at every step of the way.
The social and emotional skills students develop on an Outward Bound adventure fuels a lifetime of self-discovery and growth. The impact? A future with more compassionate leaders and more resilient communities.
Outdoor learning that meets your students where they're at.
We facilitate outdoor learning adventures for groups of youth aged 12-25. Programs are designed to facilitate social and emotional learning, empowering youth to build skills in physical engagement, belonging, reflection, and courage. We work with our program partners to design each course – or progression of courses – to meet the needs of your group.
Plan Your Adventure/
Our curriculum empowers students to build the social and emotional skills needed to thrive in the classroom, at home, and in their communities. Every Outward Bound experience focuses on four key domains of human development: Belonging, Courage, Reflection, and Physical Engagement. We work with our partner to design every program around desired learning outcomes in each of these domains.
Discover shared values and learn the power of an inclusive and caring community. Return home with the tools and foundation needed to continue growing closer and supporting one another.
Practice persevering in the face of challenges and work together to achieve common goals. Return home with the confidence to speak up for yourself and others and the enthusiasm for embarking on bold futures.
Learn to pause, reflect and share in a supportive and compassionate environment. Return home with clarity, self-awareness, and a strong sense of connection to your community.
Build awareness and confidence in your body. Return home with more skills in self-regulation and expression, and enthusiasm for outdoor activities.
Whether embarking on a 1-day ropes course or a 1-month rafting adventure, our students report significant growth in social and emotional skills. That’s the power of learning through experience in the outdoor classroom.
