Strengthening Schools by Supporting Educators

We partner with NYC public schools to support effective and sustainable change. We support a growing network of NYC public schools who are engaged in our school-based work — Crew and Instruction for Deeper Learning.

This work is delivered through the coaching of teacher teams and school leaders, their participation in networked learning communities, and through professional development. Together, our school partners co-create to build conditions for success at their schools and exchange best practices and solutions.

Our understanding of how young people grow and thrive is modeled in our coaching work with educators and school leaders — because it’s all ultimately in service of our students.

Crew

Crew is our signature advisory structure that supports student belonging and connection. Crew is also a mindset that reshapes school culture to be more inclusive, human-centered and empowering.

This partnership pathway helps schools build the conditions for successful Crew implementation and growth. Schools receive tailored coaching, professional development and access to a powerful network of educators who convene to solve problems together and conduct intervisitation to see Crew practices in action.

Professional Development

We believe that all NYC schools could benefit from our work to support social, emotional and academic development through Instruction for Deeper Learning, Crew and community building.

We offer engaging professional development workshops designed for educators who are both long-term partners and those who are curious about working with us for the first time.
