At North Carolina Outward Bound School, we recognize that our course areas exist on the ancestral homelands of Indigenous nations whose relationships with these lands endure across generations. We offer this acknowledgement as an act of respect and an invitation to continued learning.

Blue Ridge Mountains, NC

Our courses in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina take place on the ancestral homelands of the Cherokee.

Outer Banks, NC

Our Outer Banks courses take place on the ancestral lands of the Hatteras, Roanoke, and Croatan nations.
