Twin Cities INSIGHT

Voyageur offers three kinds of INSIGHT programming for program partners through the Twin Cities Center. Every option invites participants to a one-of-a-kind, crew-based adventure. Participants explore strengths and stretch skills together.

We meet participants where they are at with flexible neighborhood and near wilderness day experiences delivered inside the school day or on the weekend.

  • Discovery INSIGHT– a shorter single day for a taste of Outward Bound
  • Single INSIGHT—a complete single day of stand alone Outward Bound adventure and discovery
  • INSIGHT Series—a series of sequenced single day adventures to build community over time

 

Voyageur works with schools, colleges and nonprofits to design and deliver an INSIGHT program tailored to their participants and learning community.

Classic Courses for Individuals

For every student, at every stage. Voyageur expeditions are designed to spark lifelong growth through challenge—outside. Students discover confidence, curiosity, and skills that can be carried into every part of life. Courses are offered in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness with dog sledding, cross country skiing, canoeing, high ropes, rock climbing, backpacking activities offered.

Intercept is designed to help young people and their families unlock the skills to rise through and beyond adversity. Through a 22 to 28-day wilderness expedition, students embark on a journey that interrupts current routines with life-changing adventure and blazes new trails forward.
